"Ten years ago, we launched Straight Goods with a social mission of using the Internet to provide a reliable news source with a progressive viewpoint. Although we have a long way to go toward fulfilling this mission, we have developed a very loyal group of readers and supporters, for which we are thankful, and we're making a point of involving you more. Please let us know if you, or someone you know, would be a good candidate for one of these positions:

- SOCIAL MEDIA ASSISTANTS. Help SGN put together a team that will promote what SG publishes and discussion of issues we raise through online social media.

- NEWS EDITOR(S). We're looking for one or more online "news junkies" with editorial skills, who are online a lot, to help create and maintain updated headline listings.

- OTTAWA BUREAU STAFF. SGN is assembling a team of volunteers with journalistic or technical skills, especially digital video, to staff its Ottawa bureau and cover issues on and around Parliament Hill.

- REPORTER/CORRESPONDENT. SGN is ALWAYS interested in news from anywhere in Canada or the world that will interest a national readership of Canadians. If you would like to file individual, occasional, or regular pieces with Straight Goods News, please get in touch.
