Our TV Not Big Media's

ACTRA has launched a Our TV website to, "to remind private broadcasters and cable companies that they don’t own the airwaves, we do. It’s a place to give regular Canadians who are tired of being held hostage by cable jacking-up their bills and private broadcasters threatening to cut local news a voice."

With big media and big cable interests both running campaigns claiming to be on the side of consumers, it's good to see a website that is independent of these two interests.

With cable's massive profits and big media's appetite to for a hands off chunk of those profits, it's good that there's another voice out there.
