Media Advisory: Election Night Watch Parties in Montreal, Ottawa, New Westminster, Toronto, Vancouver & Victoria

WHO:
Leadnow.ca, OpenMedia.ca, and Get Your Vote On, three online-to-offline advocacy groups who have been working to help inform and engage Canadians in this federal election, are hosting Election Night Watch Parties. The open invite events are taking place in six locations across Canada.
WHAT:
Election Night Watch Parties, in which engaged Canadians come together to take in the results of the federal election. Citizens will also be harnessing the power of social media as they bring the local events into the national discussion via Twitter, and share thoughts on the parties, their platforms, and Canada’s future.
Canadians can participate in the Twitter conversation by following these hashtags: #yourcnda, #elxn41, and #votenet.
