New to Stop The Squeeze Resources: Radio PSA courtesy of CHRY Radio in Toronto

I love getting these kinds of emails: Kevin from CHRY Radio, a campus-based, community station in Toronto, recently sent me a message to let me know that they had produced a public service announcement (PSA)-style radio ad for the Stop The Cell Phone Squeeze campaign.

The station is running the ad "in heavy rotation in the next little while" to let listeners know about the campaign and to tell them to sign the petition. Great stuff!

You can find this file and more on the Stop The Squeeze Resources page.

These are the kinds of actions that make campaigns successful. Our famous Stop The Meter campaign hit its stride last year around the time that several creative members of the pro-Internet community put up their own videos about usage-based billing. The same thing happened with the Stop Online Spying campaign when Jeremy Brown of Rattlesnake Films and other members of our Digital Action Team made video and audio PSAs.

It means a lot that Kevin and the CHRY team would put so much effort into supporting the Stop The Squeeze campaign. They're really going above and beyond to spread the word. We at OpenMedia.ca appreciate this contribution so much.
