Internet service providers are facing a backlash from angry consumers who face extra charges on their Internet bills for data downloads that exceed the ISP’s cap.

The provision by the CRTC to allow ISPs to charge their customers for what they consider excessive downloads has come under fire from the NDP in Ottawa and advocacy groups including Vancouver’s Open Media. Read more »
